Patients look you up before they ever meet you — the practice website, the hospital directory, Healthgrades, Zocdoc, LinkedIn. Your headshot is where their trust starts.
Medical & Practice Headshots
One practice. One consistent look.
A roster shot by four photographers over five years reads as four different practices. I photograph physicians and surgeons, nurses, NPs and PAs, dentists and orthodontists in one consistent style, and keep the setup on file — so whoever joins next year matches the people photographed this year.
You don't need to know how to pose.
Most people tell me the same thing before we start: "I’m not photogenic." You don’t have to be. I set the light, the angle and the expression, and I tell you exactly what to do — chin, shoulders, where to look, when to breathe.
How a practice day works
Plan
1
A free 20-minute call to settle the look, the background and the headcount. I put the setup on file for your practice.
Shoot
2
In the Irvine studio, or I bring the studio to your practice. Setup takes about 30 minutes, and your team comes through in short slots, in whatever order the schedule allows.
Choose
3
Everyone sees their images as we go and picks their favorites before they leave. No waiting on a gallery link.
Deliver
4
Retouched images are delivered digitally within 7 business days, sized for the practice website, hospital directories, LinkedIn and print.
Medical headshot sessions
Individual session
$300 session fee + $150 per retouched image. 90 minutes in the Irvine studio, two to three outfit changes with and without the white coat or scrubs, multiple backgrounds, posing and expression coaching, and image selection during the session. The session fee is a non-refundable retainer.
Practices & groups
On-location practice sessions start at $2,500, which covers up to five people with one retouched image each. Additional people $450, additional images $150. I bring the studio to your office, keep your setup on file, and photograph new hires to match. Practices under five are usually better served in the Irvine studio at $450 per person including one image.
Good to know
Hair and makeup are not included — arrive camera-ready and I handle on-set touch-ups. A professional hair and makeup artist can be arranged separately ($300, booked and billed by the artist). One round of standard retouching is included with every image.
Questions practices ask
-
A well-fitted suit or blazer in navy, charcoal or black, plus your white coat or scrubs and something that works underneath — most people leave with both versions. Bring two to three options and we will choose together. The full guide is at headshotsbyreem.com/what-to-wear.
-
No. Your frames get angled a few degrees and the lights move off-axis, so your own glasses stay on and your eyes stay visible. Bring them.
-
Yes. I bring the studio to medical offices across Orange County; setup takes about 30 minutes and your team comes through in short slots between patients. Practice days start at $2,500, which covers up to five people with one retouched image each, with additional people at $450.

Retouched images are delivered digitally within 7 business days. Everyone selects their favorites during the session, so nothing waits on a gallery.
-
That is the point of keeping your setup on file. Lighting, background and crop are recorded, so someone who joins next year matches the people photographed today — whether they come to the studio or I return to your practice.
