Headshots by Reem wants everyone to be able to use this website and to book a session with us, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, captions or other assistive technology.
Our Goal.
We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most commonly referenced for websites in the United States. We are not claiming that every page meets it today. Accessibility is something we are improving as we go, and we would rather tell you where we are than overstate it.
Where We Know We Fall Short.
A number of images on this site still carry filenames rather than meaningful descriptions in their alternative text, which means a screen reader will not describe them usefully. We are working through them. Some parts of the site are provided by third parties — our scheduling system and our chat widget — and we do not control their code, though we have chosen providers who publish their own accessibility commitments.
If Something Does Not Work For You.
Please tell us. Email abousaif@icloud.com with the page you were on and what happened, and we will reply within two business days.
More importantly, we will make sure you get what you came for another way. If you cannot use the booking system, we will book your session by email. If you cannot read something on this site, we will send it to you in a format that works for you — large print, plain text, or read aloud over the phone. If you need an adjustment during your session itself, tell us when you book and we will arrange it.
In the Studio.
Our studio is in Irvine, California. If you have questions about physical access, parking, or anything you need to be comfortable during your session, email us before you book and we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot accommodate.
